No Complaints at All

Simple and Sturdy Packaging

The packaging is sturdy like the toner and has an easy peel label for easy recycling or reusing. I actually love how simple Benton’s packaging is because it makes me think of other ways to use it. I’m sure if you wash out the essence properly once you finish the product, you can reuse it by refilling it with other products for travel.

The pump nozzle for this product is also powerful since the essence can essentially fly out of the bottle. I think you can get away with using one to two drops of the essence to cover your skin with the ingredients it needs for hydration.

Simple Formulation

The product is an unscented, clear gel that can remind you of snail mucin. It’s not slimy, but it feels slippery. My skin doesn’t feel tacky whatsoever after using this essence. Personally, I felt that my skin felt more supple and nourished. This was the ideal condition for my skin to better absorb the skin-boosting ingredients in my moisturizer.

Cool and Soothing Experience

The gel was so nice to use! My skin felt nice and cool upon application and looked so dewy and moisturized after. It was a nice treat, especially after a hot day when I got slightly sunburnt. My skin basically drank this up.

If in the case that you do get a sunburn, I don’t think that your skin will have any issues with using this product. There are no notable ingredients in this formulation that I think can cause irritation or stinging. A lot of these ingredients focus on skin barrier protection. There’s even aloe barbadensis leaf juice and aloe barbadensis leaf extract in this formula. Aloe is the go-to solution for sunburn relief. Knowing this information, I think this product will also be good to your skin if you have any skin wounds or irritation from hair removal.

My Skin Has Leveled Up

I can happily report that my skin has continued to look amazing while implementing this essence on a day-to-day basis. My blemishes do look less prominent and my skin feels more plump, so this really is a summer must-have for me.

I do want to mention that I did receive multiple compliments on my skin while using this product. Someone even asked me about my skincare routine because my skin looked so clear.

Would I repurchase?

Yes, hands down 🙌. I really have nothing bad to say about this product since it helps with blemishes, inflammation, and collagen production to give you a healthy glow. This formula is great for dry, sensitive, and mature skin since it is very lightweight and doesn’t cause breakouts. Even if you don’t fall under these skin types, the formulation is so simple and effective. I’m sure skincare newbies of all skincare types and even guys who want to get into skincare will get a kick out of this product.

Simple and Travel-Friendly Packaging

The packaging is a very simple plastic bottle that does a good job of keeping the toner solution inside. I personally like it because the label is easy to peel so you can recycle the bottle or reuse it. Most likely I’m going to wash the bottle to reuse for travel, so I love how considerate Benton was to have an eco-friendly brand.

Simple Formula

The toner solution can be mistaken for water if you didn’t read the label closely. It is a clear, unscented formula that doesn’t seem special. However, you can notice its difference once you apply the product to your skin. It leaves a thin layer of moisture that leaves your skin with a light sheen.

Perfect for My Dry Skin

I use 3-4 drops in my morning and night routines right after washing my face. Initially, you would think that this is just like water. My dry skin wouldn’t feel dehydrated or irritated. Instead, it looked soothe and dewy. There was a slight slipperiness to this toner to my skin, but it was a good foundation for my skin to better absorb my serums and moisturizer.

New Face Wash Alternative

Dry skin is more likely to form wrinkles due to water loss, so I stopped washing my face in the morning. Instead, I used this to bring moisture back into my skin and I love it a lot! It doesn’t sting my face and has helped with lightening my blemishes. My skin has not had any prominent breakouts except for some white heads every then and there. Someone even asked about my skincare routine because they said my skin looked so smooth. This was one of the products I was using, so there’s some proof that this toner is working.

Would I repurchase?

Yes! I highly recommend this for newbies to skincare (especially for damaged skin barriers) because it’s an easy-to-use product. Dry and mature skin would love this formula due to the collagen production focus. It’s a stellar toner, and I really wish I had a product like this when my skin barrier was so damaged.

I actually think this product would be amazing as a spray mist for on-the-go touch-ups or for an alternative to washing my face. I use mists for the morning because dry skin is more wrinkle-prone, so Benton, please answer my prayer. 😂🙏🏼

Besties, I think I’m in loveeee with this one. I haven’t felt this way about makeup before because it merges skincare and makeup into one product. Yes, this might be the makeup product for the skincare-obsessed.

Urban Decay launched their newest baby, the Hydromaniac Dewy Liquid Blush, TODAY and I was fortunate enough to test out this product for the past few weeks from @influenster and @urbandecaycosmetics in exchange for my honest review. I am writing this blog post to document my experiences with various products so that others who are curious about these products feel confident in purchasing them for themselves. I am receiving no monetary compensation for writing this review.

A Juicy Blush Has Arrived

Urban Decay surprised me with the Hydromaniac Dewy Liquid Blush in the shade Unhinged (Berry Mauve). This liquid blush costs $22 USD at Sephora’s US website. The makeup brand describes this product as a liquid blush that is suitable for all skin tones and is buildable for a juicy, radiant glow. It is also formulated to be vegan and cruelty-free.

The blush is easy to blend, build, and apply with a small amount of product and any makeup tool of your choice. It is a small size to make it travel-friendly (specifically TSA-compliant), but mighty enough to provide a long-lasting flush to complete your makeup look.

This cheek tint gives you the glow and keeps your skin glowy thanks to its key ingredients:

• Kombucha Filtrate: Detoxifies and nourishes your skin. It contains vitamin C, which lightly exfoliates your skin and boosts collagen production to eliminate signs of aging.
• Marula Oil: Hydrates your skin and seals in moisture to protect it from environmental stressors and free radicals.

The packaging is so cute, sturdy, and hygienic. The packaging is made from plastic and is more compact so the blush is compliant with TSA guidelines. If you’ve ever been stopped by TSA to throw away any of your beloved cosmetics or skincare, you know how terrible it is to let go of something so precious. The fact that Urban Decay noted this TSA detail in their product description shows that the team is very considerate of their users’ needs and makeup habits. It really is meant to be your go-to blush.

Another cool detail about the packaging is the pointed plastic nozzle for squeezing out the blush. It reminds me of squeezing out paint for arts and crafts, but I think it is a smart touch for pinpointing application to smaller areas of your face or applying small dots of pigmented product. I have used this blush frequently and can still proudly say that my blush doesn’t look messy. The pointed nozzle keeps the watery blush from leaking out of the twist lid and making a mess.

Watery Texture

As the name says, this is a liquid blush. The blush has a thin, lightweight consistency that is kind of watery. It reminds me of really watery acrylic paint that is super pigmented.

For those wondering about the scent of this blush, there is no noticeable scent. There is no smell that I noticed from using the blush multiple times, but maybe it could change as I have this product around for longer in my makeup collection.

Flawless Makeup Now Feels Easier to Do

I was worried about this because I never used liquid blush or a mauve blush before, but I think Urban Decay converted me!

These babies are pigmented. Urban Decay was not joking when they said the liquid blushes were pigmented. One small dot of this blush on my hand created such a nice, natural, and rosy glow. Immediately, I saw myself using this for work because of how it looked so natural and berry pink on my medium skin tone.

I also tested how well this product is for building up the pigment, and this liquid blush also passed the test. In an instant, my natural flush swatch turned into a bold pop of mauve that worked so well with my olive undertones. You can see this for yourself in the video I made down below.

Enhances My Skin

Urban Decay and I never talked before about my makeup needs, but they seemed to know that I needed this product for my dry skin. This product works so, so well with my dry skin because I transform into a glowy goddess with plumpy pink cheeks. I love how it compliments my medium tan skin and enhances my skin.

Reading through this formulation also makes me think that this liquid blush can also work for mature skin since it can seep well into my skin and hide the appearance of fine lines due to the shine. Maybe this can also work for oily skin types, too! There’s plenty of skincare ingredients in here to make anyone’s skin look pretty, plump, and perfectly pink.

Longlasting Glow

I put this blush to the test by using it during my workout and during some pretty hot days. This liquid blush lasted me through the day and didn’t wear off on my sweatiest of days under the sun. By the end of the day, I could still see my natural flush of pigment and the glowiness of my skin. It was still noticeable after looking past the sweat I probably had by the end of the night.

Multifunctional Makeup

On Sephora, I noticed that some testers also put the liquid blush on their eyes and lips. I tried this for myself on my lips and eyes, and it looked very nice! The slight tackiness of the liquid blush can make it a possible eye primer for some shimmer shades. If you put this on your lips, you can seal it in by topping it off with some clear lip gloss for a MLBB (my lips but better) look.

If you feel that you overdid the blush, no worries. You can always dial the color down with foundation or concealer and it won’t feel cakey.

My Only Caveat

I would say there might be a minor area of concern when using the product.  Depending on your skincare prep or your makeup primer, you may notice a little bit of patchiness while applying this liquid primer. I tested this with my dry skin favorite primer, the Milk Makeup Hydro Primer, and my slightly tacky moisturizer and noticed some patchiness when applying this blush to my skin. The patchiness might be because of the primer or from applying it with a beauty sponge. I would recommend gently applying this liquid blush if using it after products that tend to pill on your skin or are too slippery.

Would I repurchase?

I was scared to try this, but omg I absolutely love it. I’m a straightforward makeup/ glowy or dewy skin person, and this worked so well for me. If you love no-effort makeup tools, dewy makeup, or are a lazy girl like myself, I think you’ll love it!

Urban Decay definitely convinced me to try incorporating more mauve into my beauty routine with this PR, so thank you again for giving me the blush shade I didn’t know I needed. It’s perfect!

Guava in skincare?! Girl, yes! You read that right.

It’s very rare I hear about skincare using guava, so imagine my excitement when @bentoncosmetic and @go.picky @pickyrewards sent me the newest launch from Benton Cosmetics. It’s literally my favorite fruit, so anything with guava is an immediate urge to try.

I used these toner pads primarily in my nighttime routine for 2-3 weeks before coming up with my opinions on this product.

A Unique Collaboration

Benton sells their Guava 70 Skin Toner Face Mask Pad (70 pads) for $28.00 USD on their website. This product is unique to their lineup because it was made in collaboration with @bbomni who is a popular Korean beauty content creator in South Korea. These toner pads are supposed to help lightly exfoliate your face, even for sensitive skin types, while also making your skin more elastic and healthy.

I loved researching this product because of the reason this product was made. Bbomni herself has sensitive skin, and creating content for makeup looks made her realize that great makeup looks really start with a strong makeup base. She wasn’t talking about a primer, she was referring to going skin deep with a product that can improve her skin texture so that makeup can be applied evenly and look better throughout the day.

Before going into my thoughts on this product, I do want to do a little deep dive on some of the noteworthy ingredients that make this vegan formula unique:

•  Jeju Guava Leaf Extract: Guavas contain antioxidants and are full of vitamins A, B, and C. These characteristics make them the perfect, fruity ingredient for an anti-aging and blemish-fighting product. They are also great for collagen production since vitamin C helps boost collagen production for a healthier skin barrier.
• Mugwort: Mugwort is a plant that contains a compound called artemisinin. Artemisinin has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation and redness.
• Kelp: Kelp contains amino acids that can help firm our skin tissue and keep it moisturized.
• Calendula: Calendula is another soothing ingredient in skincare that has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It is commonly used to treat wounds and eczema.
• Green Tea: Green tea is anti-inflammatory because it contains polyphenols. It also contains antioxidants that can protect your skin from sun damage and environmental stressors.
• Yam Root: Yam can deeply moisturize your skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It can soothe your skin and can boost collagen production. This is a dry skin must-have, basically.
• Houttuynia Cordata: Houttuynia has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, so it can eliminate bacteria that can cause pimples to form.

Where Have These Toner Pads Been All My Life?

Simple, Recyclable Packaging

The packaging is a nice sturdy plastic container that came with cute little plastic tongs. Since the packaging is easy to open and hollow, this also makes it easy to clean for recycling.

I did notice that the simple white container can also be reused. Benton does sell toner pad refills inside a zip-seal bag so that you can insert them into the plastic container. If you’re trying to reduce your carbon footprint by reducing your waste levels, you might want to try these toner pads.

Small but Mighty Cotton Pads

The pads are a nice thin cotton (kind of reminds me of Korean radish slices because they are paper thin) that are so absorbent since they are drenched in the toner solution. I would always be soaked in serum because the pads carry so much toner solution. It reminds me of the drenched sheet masks that I would use from other Kbeauty brands.

A huge selling point of these toner pads is that you can make them targeted to certain parts of your face. I love how you can easily rip them to fit smaller parts of your face or for swiping on your neck and chest. They are multi-purpose sheets, for sure. Some days I would rip the sheets into little triangles to hit the temples of my face. Other days, I would just use the rounds for my cheeks and forehead. I personally like to rip the sheets in half for my nose and chin area.

An Instant Cooling Sensation

I don’t refrigerate these, but putting these on gives a cooling sensation that makes me feel like I’m at a spa. This cooling sensation happens whenever I apply them, and it does fade as the toner pads dry out. On my tiresome days, using these toner pads at night served as a little reward of relaxation. My skin definitely looked forward to these toner pads every single time.

The toner pads are supposed to be on your face for 15-20 minutes. I like to wear these till they are almost dried out since they don’t irritate my skin.

Visible Improvement

The toner solution is great for my dry, sensitive skin and doesn’t break it out. It’s super hydrating and its consistency is more watery/slippery.

I’ve been using this nightly after my showers and my skin has been looking radiant and glowy. I would say there’s an improvement to my blemishes on top of my routine because they can be barely seen from afar. I’ve also been complimented by friends and family on how glowy my skin looks lately, so I think it’s working!

In terms of applying makeup, I don’t use this before makeup application. The toner pads have helped with improving my skin texture and elasticity. My makeup goes on super smooth and blends seamlessly for blush and bronzer. It can be hard to tell sometimes if I am wearing makeup or not. These toner pads do a great job with creating a smooth canvas for your makeup routine.

Would I repurchase?

Yes! I haven’t used toner pads in years, but this product is so nice and worth it since it comes with 70 large toner pads. It has made me question why I stopped using toner pads because this formula is so good.

I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks and I notice my skin looking healthier and glowy. Amazing job to @bbomni and to @bentoncosmetic_us on this one. I think I have a new holy grail product! That is a huge statement to say considering I have some ride-or-die skincare solutions that took me months to find.

Perfect Product in a Little Package

Travel-Friendly Size

The packaging is very sturdy and perfectly sized for placing in your bag for on-the-go application and for reapplying. If you are lazy with sunscreen, this is perfect since it can work for 12+ hours. I love popping this bad boy in my purse or small tote bag so that I can reapply throughout the day. You can fit this sun stick inside the front pocket of your backpack. This means you can also put it in your gym bag, too.

Curved Shape

The product itself has a slight curve, making it perfect for applying on the face without missing any crevices. I noticed that this little bevel in the face stick can fit the high points of my face like my cheekbones and nose tip. You can also use the round edge of the stick to get into your nose area.

Skin-Like Finish

The formula is more on the stiff side, so you can rub it on your hand first to soften the product and prevent any tugging. My skin has a slightly velvety, buttery finish to it that can make me forget I applied sunscreen sometimes. It’s honestly really nice.

Barely Noticeable

The mineral sunscreen leaves a very slight white cast. Because of the hyaluronic acid, silica, and centella asiatica, my skin becomes less red and feels buttery smooth! I noticed that the formulation of this sunscreen is great for minimizing pores and mattifying oily areas. Fights Blemishes

I would say using this along with my usual skincare routine has been helpful with my blemishes. The sun stick’s formulation can make your skin look a little bit lighter, but it isn’t a white cast. It does minimize the appearance of my hyperpigmentation from previous breakouts.

The formula doesn’t go on heavily on my skin. I don’t recall seeing any prominent breakouts while using this formula. After every swipe, I just remember my skin looking moisturized and soothed. This is important to me because my skin can turn red very easily.

A Few Notes of Improvement

A Little Small, but That’s Okay

I would say that the product size is a little small for the price point. The sun stick is probably close to, if not slightly greater than, the height of a lipstick bullet. However, knowing that this sunscreen is effective for more than 12 hours makes this a justifiable purchase.

More of a Tone Up Sunscreen

Again there is a slight white cast with this formula since that is typical of mineral sunscreens. However, it is very minimal for my medium skin tone. I’m not too sure if this is more noticeable with darker skin tones, but I think the white cast will not be an issue with a little bit of rubbing in post-application.

Would I repurchase?

Yes! Again I think the 12+ hour protection and the ease of application justify the price point ($25 for 15 grams). I do have to test this with makeup, but I love this as someone who usually wears minimal makeup usually. Some days this sun stick is my “foundation” because it blurs my pores and has a mattifying effect while keeping my skin moisturized. I can’t wait to use this up and possibly repurchase it.

Have you ever heard of a vegan meta brand? What about “fairy core?”Both of these terms were completely new to me and I didn’t know what to expect. Both of these terms have to do with kbeauty, specifically a rising Korean makeup brand called Naetis.

Recently @naetis.official reached out to me to try out their new blur lip tints. I used these lip tints over the course of two to three weeks before coming up with my opinions. This was my first makeup collab, so obviously I was super excited to give them an honest review.

This also was a collaboration I couldn’t pass up since I always love supporting small businesses. Therefore, I am writing this blog post to provide feedback for the brand and for other people who want to check customer reviews before trying new brands. So, enjoy!

So, what is “vegan meta?”

What is a vegan meta brand? According to my research, these are brands that are focused on making vegan-formulated products and pay close attention to their ingredient sources to stay true to that mission.

Living in a Fairy Blur Makeup Dreams

These lip tints are advertised to be MLBB (otherwise known as “my lips but better”). They enhance your natural beauty by creating makeup that can be used anytime, anywhere because these lip tints are supposed to stain your lips for an all-day tint. You wouldn’t have to worry about reapplying your lipstick because Naetis wants to help you keep your peak makeup game and always feel like you’re living in a fantasy.

On top of that, these lip tints have an airy texture that leaves a buttery velvet finish and keeps your lips soft and moisturized. Oh yeah, and these lippie formulas are vegan, of course!

Here are some notable ingredients in the formulation that make these lip tints a great addition to your lipstick collection:

• Titanium Dioxide: Titanium dioxide is used as a thickener for cosmetics and can enhance the anti-aging properties of other ingredients. It is a popular ingredient for providing SPF, too.
• Tocopheryl Acetate: Tocopheryl acetate is an anti-aging ingredient that promotes skin cell regeneration and protects your skin from the harmful effects of UV rays.
• Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: This ingredient is an emollient that seals in moisture to ensure your skin doesn’t dry out and lose its elasticity.
• Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil: This ingredient contains vitamins A, C, and E which makes it perfect for anti-aging if you want to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes.
• Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract: Peach extract can provide moisture to your skin and brighten your skin tone to minimize hyperpigmentation.
• Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract: This species of apple extract contains antioxidants that keep your skin elastic and firm while protecting it from free radicals, which can cause signs of aging and hyperpigmentation.
• Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract: Watermelon extract is also rich in antioxidants, so it can defend your skin against UV ray damage and signs of aging.
• Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Extract: Pomegranates are known to be rich in antioxidants, anti-bacterial, and healing. This extract helps prevent breakouts and protects your skin cells.

Literally My Lips But Better

Naetis allowed me to pick two of the blur lip tints to test out. I decided to choose shades 301 #PeachOrdinary and 501 #SeoulElf. Peach Ordinary looked like a perfect everyday lip shade for me since I don’t wear dark shades regularly. I wanted to try Seoul Elf because Naetis told me that it was their most popular shade. If you want me to make another video with swatches on my lips, I’ll be more than happy to do it!

Whipped Texture

The tints are a beautiful whipped texture. I noticed that these lip tints were airy when I first swatched them on my hand because they didn’t feel sticky or heavy.

Applying this to my lips was very nice. The formula feels buttery once spread onto my lips and glided very well. In terms of the finish of these lip tints, I would say that my lips felt velvety but not chapped. When using matte lip sticks in the past, I would get the matte appearance but my lips would feel and look so dry like the Sahara dessert. These blur tints do not provide that unpleasant feeling. The ingredient list also shows that this would be a good tinted lip balm if your lips feel dry.

Lovely Fruity Scent

There is a pleasant, light fruity scent that is in the formulation. I would not have pinpointed any of the fruit extracts as the scent in this formula. The scent of both of these lip tints reminds me more of cherry with a subtle note of coconut. The cherry scent smells more like the artificial kind that you would find for candy and drinks, which I had no issue with.

An All-Day Type of Lip Product

These remind me of my favorite discontinued blur tints from Colourpop (iykyk 😩). With the added lip stain and buildable coverage, these are definitely a must-have for any occasion (especially if you are eating and drinking because the color will stay on). If you do not drink or eat as frequently, I’m sure these lip tints will maintain their pigment by the end of the day.

If you blot the lip tints on tissue, there will be some residue that goes on the tissue, but the bright pigment will still be on your lips. Naetis’s lip tints are blot proof and keep your lips feeling velvety.

Buildable and Multi-Purpose

These lip tints are buildable so you can use one layer for a natural, no-makeup look or add another layer for a vivid statement lippie. As someone who doesn’t identify herself as a makeup expert, these lip tints were easy to use and build upon. I found it easy to do the gradient lips where the center of my lips were pigmented. That lip look is a challenge sometimes and I find it doesn’t always look good on me. However, these lip tints made me realize I was just doing them wrong.

The airy texture and pigmentation power of these made me want to try the lip tints out as a blush. I would say they were also as easy to spread out and build up pigment. I didn’t notice any breakouts on my skin, but maybe a slight pink pigment since pink can color your skin. Again, these lip tints are easy to remove with makeup remover so you can do some double cleansing when using these on your skin.

Would I repurchase?

Yes! I always love supporting small businesses with high-quality products, so definitely is worth a purchase. It combines the buttery velvet formula of a liquid lipstick with the power of a lip stain, so if you want an alternative to the trending lip oils and lip stains, I highly consider trying Naetis!

A Great Introduction to Retinal

Cute Packaging

The packaging is a pump style which makes it hygienic and easy to use for travel! I love the unique packaging because it is a lavender purple with details of neon highlighter yellow. It definitely is a unique addition that can stand out from more simple skincare packaging.

Smooth Like Butter

The night cream came out as a bright lemon yellow and has a consistency of thick butter. I had to do a double take with the neon yellow color of this product, but it was perfectly fine and blends well into my medium skin tone. No need to worry about the possibility of a white cast.

The ability to spread this product on your face also depends on the situation. If you put it on dry skin, the cream will take a bit longer to blend out due to the thick formula. Wishtrend recommends using a maximum of 3 pumps to spread on damp skin to avoid this issue and prevent unnecessary tugging of your skin. I recommend doing this, too, if you have dry or mature skin since those skin types are more prone to the formation of wrinkles.

An Acquired Smell

The smell of the cream reminds me of a mix of fruit and some herbs. This interesting scent is probably due to the use of fig extract, centella asiatica, and eclipta prostrata leaf. I wouldn’t say this smell is pleasant. It definitely takes some time to get used to it, but it is not an overbearing scent that can mess with your nose.

Noticeable Difference

I did see an improvement in my skin by using this every night for the past 3 weeks. My skin looked more radiant and I do think my pesky dark blemishes have been getting lighter from using it on top of my usual routine.

The night cream left my skin feeling calm and buttery smooth after each use. I can say that I felt my skin texture improve since I experienced little to no signs of a breakout. Usually, retinol can come with an initial round of purging (or breakouts), but I was fortunate enough to not undergo that.

My Only Caveat

Although my experience with Wishtrend’s night crema was lovely, I do have a slight con. The only con would have to be the scent if you’re not a fan of strong, herbal/chemically scents from the leaf extracts. I personally didn’t mind it after a while. The benefits of using this product outweighed this only con.

Would I repurchase?

Yes! I think this is a great introduction to retinals and retinols for people who want to try the ingredient out. I never tried it since I was worried about breaking out and ruining my hard work maintaining my skin, but this product is great!

The $33 price tag might seem like a lot. However, considering you just need 1-2 pumps of this product to use on damp skin, this can last maybe 2-3 months at most. I would say this is a justified reason to buy it. Wishtrend even says not to use more than 3 pumps of this product to minimize the possibility of breakouts or flaky skin.

Dr. Ceuracle does a great job with the first impressions. When I opened the box, I could not help but admire the sleek glass packaging. It’s a very simple glass jar with a pastel purple or lilac-colored lid.

If you love skincare brands that make their packaging recycling-friendly, you will like this. The sticker labels are very easy to peel so you can reuse the jar or simply recycle it for repurposing. I think I’ll be reusing it, so I’m excited to use it up to the last drop.

Pudding-like Consistency

The formula is pudding-like and seamlessly blends into a slippery cream on my skin. The cream isn’t too jiggly and maintains its shape probably due to the thickening ingredients like titanium dioxide. I did not really notice the gel capsules in the cream unless you looked up close.

Juicy Finish to Prep Your Skin

The cream leaves this glow that makes my skin look hydrated. After spreading onto my skin, I did see a sheen that would distract from my blemishes. I think this effect also works for you if you have fine lines or wrinkles, so this is an anti-aging product to look out for.

After a few minutes of using this at night, I did notice that this cream can leave a slightly tacky feeling. This cream is meant more for a morning routine because of this feeling. So, if you are thinking of putting on makeup and sunscreen in the morning, use this cream formula first to seal in your serums and create a protective barrier for your skin. This cream can serve as a primer to hold your makeup for longer.

Lovely Scent

There is a pleasant scent from the mix of lavender and orange oils, but it isn’t overbearing. I would pinpoint the scent as more fruity if I did not read through the ingredient list for you. I did not get a headache from using this product, which can happen to me when I use products with strong scents.

Summer Skin Potential Unlocked

My dry and sensitive skin didn’t break out with this product. The cream blends into my skin effortlessly and doesn’t leave a white cast. I love the thin finish of this formula so that I can let my skin breathe with or without makeup.

The Only Caveat

This formula overall is great, except for one thing: the beads. The gel beads didn’t disperse easily after rubbing the product well into my skin. There were a few occasions when I would notice the small beads and mistake them for my sunscreen pilling up on my skin. So, if you do not like skincare products that tend to pill on your skin, keep this in mind before buying.

Would I repurchase?

Although I love the glowing effect it gives to my dry skin, I do not think I would. For the price point, I would expect my skincare to blend in without any pilling or beads.

I think I would only repurchase if the gel beads were not there. You can see that the beads were still easy to see in the close-ups. If you don’t mind that, then I would highly recommend the product! Please also keep in mind that the small amount of titanium dioxide isn’t enough for SPF protection. Make sure to support your skin with other sunscreens afterward so that it isn’t affected by UVA and UVB rays. It can be a good primer for makeup, in my opinion.

Who Knew That Grapes Were Great for Skin?

Eye-catching Packaging Design

I couldn’t get my eyes off of their lovely sleek packaging! It literally looks like a lava lamp in my skincare collection because the essence is mixed with the resveratrol capsule beads.

This essence bottle is made out of glass, so it is heavier than other essences and more fragile. If you want to ensure the essence remains potent for longer, I would avoid storing this in areas with frequent sun exposure and high temperatures.

Like a Fruit Jelly

I actually loved testing this on my hand because I noticed that the formula comes out as a clear, viscous texture (in between watery and jelly) that was easy to spread on my face and neck. The texture reminded me of those Konjac jelly drinks due to the clear color and jiggly jelly consistency.

The scent was very clean and light, maybe a light fruity note that was enjoyable. I would say that it smells lightly of grapes because of the product’s ingredients, but not the artificial grape that you would find in candy or drinks. Probably kind of like a juicy red grape or a Kyoho grape, if you know what I am talking about.

Fresh, Juicy Skin Guaranteed

My dry skin loved this formula! It would look very glowy and be left with a slightly tacky finish, making it easy to absorb moisturizer or prime up for makeup. This formula is also very lightweight, so I do believe that this essence can work for sensitive skin and mature skin that can get clogged pores from thick formulas.

My skin didn’t break out using this product, so it is good for dry and sensitive skin. The cranbetinol and grape seed oil were perfect for my dry skin and made it look flawless. I looked more awake and my skin did have a plump and juicy appearance.

Where Did This Product Go Sour?

Difficulty Dispersing All the Gel

If you’re more nitpicky with formulas, maybe you wouldn’t like the gel capsules. It would take some time for rubbing and dispersing the gel beads of resveratrol, so just keep that in mind if thinking to put makeup on afterward.

If you plan to use this without using makeup or for your nighttime routine, then this should not be an area of concern for you. The clear part of the essence blends like a dream to make your skin look juicy and firm. The gel capsules are so minuscule that you wouldn’t notice their breakage unless you pulled them up with a magnifying glass.

Improvement of Product Experience

The little hole for releasing the product would make it hard to get the essence out. It can take some time to get the essence out around the initial uses since there is less air in the container. This issue is also very minor since it wasn’t a huge bother to me. I know some people may dislike the product for this reason, so I am mentioning it here.

If Dr. Ceuracle is planning to update the product design over time, I would suggest adding a pump that equals a recommended usage (1 pump of product equates to 1 proper serving). I used 2-3 drops of essence on my damp skin so that it was easy to absorb and take in moisture.

Would I repurchase?

The product itself is a little pricey, but I think I would since there is a lot of essence. I estimate this will last 3-5 months (maybe more if you have other products). Also, the small hole isn’t a huge issue for getting the product out. I think this is perfect for dry and aging skin because of the antioxidants and retinol-alternative ingredients.

The frosted matte packaging is so cute and elegant. The bottle is made from sturdy plastic and is lightweight. Because of the packaging design having a plastic focus, I think this can actually be great for traveling. The cap does twist, so I would recommend taping it or putting it in a ziplock bag for travel.

Easy and Carefree Experience

The serum is transparent and thin, like water. It does leave your skin with an unmistakable glow thanks to the orange extract and fermented black tea and with a slightly sticky texture. It was easy to spread around on my face and neck area.

Due to the slight tackiness post-application, I think this would be a great addition to a morning skincare routine. By using it in the morning, moisturizers and makeup primers would be easier to apply. There was a slight orange scent since orange water is the second most ingredient in the product list. However, the scent does fade once the product dries on your skin.

Using the product was very easy. Personally, I would put 3-4 drops of the product on my hands to pat onto wet skin. I think the consistency of the product can be good to soak onto cotton pads and leave them on your face for 10-20 minutes as a sheet mask or toner pad.

Sensitive Skin Approved

There is no noticeable scent with this product and it is gentle on my skin, which is great since it is sensitive skin tested. It did not break me out.

The formulation being sensitive-skin-friendly also would make this product great if you are dealing with a damaged skin barrier that is in need of moisture. Since the exfoliating ingredients of PHA’s are in low doses compared to other stronger, more potent, exfoliating serums, this is a great introduction to exfoliation.

A Slow Process, but Noticeable Improvement

I have been using this for the past 2 weeks and have noticed my blemishes being less prominent. This is a great light exfoliator for evening skin tone and making your skin more radiant. I thoroughly enjoyed using the product because it left my skin looking super dewy and plump. That’s all I could simply want for my dry skin.

Were There Any Cons to Trying HaruHaru Wonder’s Exfoliating Serum?

There were no cons to using the HaruHaru Wonder serum since it did not sting or irritate my skin. It’s very friendly to even the most sensitive of skin types.

I think someone would not enjoy this product if they are expecting to see a dramatic difference overnight. However, those products are not friendly for skincare newbies or people with sensitive skin. Since this is a leave-in exfoliating treatment that has a gentler ingredient list, this makes it easier to prevent skincare mishaps. Stronger exfoliating products may require you to go heavy with moisturizing skincare or with SPF since your skin can end up very sensitive to UV rays. HaruHaru Wonder’s serum clearly considers this niche market in this product.

Would I repurchase?

Yes! This was my first time trying @haruharuwonder_official thanks to @go.picky and @pickyrewards and I was pleasantly surprised with this one! I’ll definitely be putting this on my skincare wishlist for when I run out. My breakouts have been less frequent or obvious lately, so products like these are great to have.
