I was just scrolling through my explore page on Instagram today just like any person who is bored and doesn’t mind wasting time. Now, it is usually filled with one of four things: fashion, slime, bath bombs, or cooking posts. Who would have known that today I would find a post containing two of those things.
Here is the post that I stumbled upon:
So, this product, which is called a “jelly bomb” was just released by LUSH Cosmetics. The company is known for creating wonderful products that help make bathing more beautiful and fun. I’ve been in love with this company ever since I bought their Play-doh-like soap almost two years ago. Some of my favorite products by them, including the dough soap, would have to be their Northern Lights Bath Bomb and their Santa’s Belly Bath Jelly.
I guess the jelly bomb would have to be like Hannah Montana: it is the best of both worlds. By worlds, I mean their bath bombs and jelly soaps since they have been extremely popular among many people lately.
Now, I guess you are wondering how this bath bomb would be the offspring of two of LUSH’s popular bath products. Like any other bath bomb, they jelly bomb fizzes once it hits the tub. It unleashes magnificent scents and makes you smell oh sooo good and fresh. However, the Instagram-quality, aesthetically pleasing layer of bubbles is actually slime!
The slime that is created is supposed to help moisturize and nourish the skin. Just imagine putting your hand in a jelly bomb bath and scooping out a goopy substance. If you can’t imagine it, then here is a quick picture from the Instagram post that is just for you:

What made LUSH release a line of jelly bombs in the first place? Well, Jack Constantine, who is also the creator of the jelly bombs, explains on the LUSH website by saying the following statement:
I’m always very interested in what we can create in terms of textures and colours in the water. It’s all about creating something that is a bit of a spectacle and is unique whilst retaining benefits to the skin.
Constantine definitely knows what he is doing working for a company that makes products that are anything but boring or plain. When you think of LUSH anyways you think of special handmade skin care and bath products. These jelly bombs would probably take the cake for the most unique bath experience. Hands down!
